Last week we celebrated Crazy Hair day! All students were asked to wear their craziest hair style! We brought in a gold coin donation to help raise money for the school. Thankyou to all the families who supported this and the parents for being creative! Here are some of 2G’s crazy hair styles!
Dear Parents,
As we move towards the end of the year, our students are preparing for the upcoming end of year concert to be held on Monday December 9 on the school oval. This will take the form of a “Concert on the lawn”, where families and extended familes are invited to come along and join together to share a meal and an evening of entertainment.
Our amazing Parents and Friends group are busy preparing for this exciting occasion, with a range of food on offer for families to purchase for dinner. They will be selling baked potatoes, a barbeque and many other exciting food items on offer. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic dinner to share. The idea is to have families bring a picnic blanket and sit together to enjoy a meal, starting at 5.00pm. At 6.00pm the food will be finished and packed away and the concert will begin. If the weather prevents us from having the concert on the lawn, we will be having the concert in the church and the Parents and Friends will still be providing dinner – we hope this will not be required but we need to assure you that all possibilities have been catered for.
During the concert all classes will be performing a song and the whole school are performing songs as well. We continue to hope and pray that the weather is kind to us as we look ahead to a very special night for our school community. We hope you have all put this into your calendar as it will be a special way for all of us to gather together to celebrate the wonderful year we have had, and to celebrate the Christmas season.
Our first Foundation Transition Day went really well, with 44 new Foundation students and their families joining our school community next year. We know what a huge decision it is when parents are choosing the school for their children and we a proud that our school is the choice for so many lovely families. We look forward to welcoming these families to St Mary’s next year.
Kind regards
Lisa

Once again we’ll be having a Christmas Stall for the children to be able by presents for their parents or other special people. Presents will be priced from $2 to $10. We are looking for donations to help with providing a variety of goods for sale. This year the Christmas Stall will be held on THURSDAY 5th DECEMBER.
We look forward to your continued support in our fund raising efforts.
