Dear Parents,
On Thursday this week we celebrated RUOK Day. This day celebrates the importance of being there for each other and checking in to make sure those around us feel supported and valued.
We had a lovely morning tea for our staff to remind them of how important they are to our school and to provide an opportunity for them to check in with each other to ask the question RUOK?
Lord, You said, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).” We are called - to love; to care for one another; to include one another and remind one another of each and everyone's priceless value as being made in the image and likeness of our God. We pray that you are OK.
When beginning a “check in” conversation, the following suggestions may be helpful:
As we come to the last week of the term, we look back on what has been a very successful and happy term, and reflect on how our school community have dealt with the challenges we have faced. I take this opportunity to thank our wonderful families for your generosity of spirit, support and understanding as we patiently navigated storms, health concerns and engaged in a range of events that required parent help. We are so blessed to have such wonderful families.
Kind regards
Lisa
We would like to thank everyone for supporting our latest fundraising effort – the Father’s Day Stall and Raffle. The Raffle made $893 and the Stall $1,598. Just amazing in these difficult times. Special thanks to those who donated Gift Cards that made our Raffle prizes that much more special. We love what we do especially the children when they come “shopping” but we couldn’t do it without your support! Our next project will be the Christmas stall. If you have any suggestions or ideas for us please feel free to come along any Tuesday and join us for a cuppa!
